I am entering my third year as an Electrical Engineering major at Georgia Tech.  I play oboe and saxophone in the marching and concert bands, and I’ve held officer positions in Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering and will be chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) during the upcoming school year.  I enjoy volunteering at community service events on campus and in the local area.

This summer I am studying abroad in Metz, France, at the Georgia Tech Lorraine campus.  I will be traveling on weekends throughout France and to Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, England, and Switzerland.  My classes (two electrical engineering, one history) are taught in English by Georgia Tech faculty, and we’re given three, four, and five-day weekends for travel.  I’m looking forward to exploring Europe!
